Volunteering makes meets more fun!
This entire swim team only works because of our amazing families and volunteers!
What is Required?:
- The exact number of "points" to be filled is determined after registration has been open and we can determine a baseline number of families. You can expect to fill approximately 10 hours of volunteering during the season.
- If your child participates in prelims or finals, we will ask for an additional shift that week.
- Be a team lead and cut your point requirements in half while also helping the team in a big way! Open opportunities are here.
How Does It Work to Sign Up for Volunteer Shifts?
- Team leads and stroke judges will be granted permission to sign up earlier. This is a "perk" for taking on a leadership role. These volunteers often donate much more than the ~10 hours of time.
- We recognize that others are "eager" to volunteer, but if you sign up early and you are not a team lead, your volunteer slot will be removed. Please honor our request.
My Swimmer Doesn't Swim Meets - Why do I have to Volunteer?
- Even if your swimmer may not participate in meets, the fact is ...this is where we need the help the most! It's just part of being on swim team.
- Think of it as a fun chance to experience what a gator meet feels like!
